FERNDALE, Calif. — October 31, 2026. Residents who want to follow city business or address the Ferndale City Council have an upcoming opportunity to participate in a specially scheduled meeting.
The City of Ferndale announced a special City Council meeting for Monday, November 2, at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held at Ferndale City Hall, 834 Main Street, Ferndale, CA 95536.
How residents can participate
According to the city’s October 29 public notice, those who want to ask questions or offer comments in person should plan to attend. Written comments related to agenda items may be submitted to the city clerk by noon on the meeting day, November 2, and will be forwarded to council members before the meeting.
People unable to visit City Hall can review the agenda and meeting packet through the city’s official council page. The city also says residents may request an electronic copy of the packet from City Hall; printed packets are available for a fee.
What will the council consider?
The meeting announcement does not itself enumerate the council’s agenda items, so the posted agenda and packet—not assumptions about pending city projects—should guide residents who want to prepare public comments. Anyone planning to speak should review those materials and verify procedures with City Hall.
A special meeting is distinct from the council’s regular meeting schedule. Before traveling, residents should confirm that the meeting time and venue have not changed.
